The Myth of Forced Matrix MLM’s

I have built network marketing businesses on more that one occasion that used a forced growth matrix as their business structure. The lure is that it will grow for you without you having to do anything but the problem is that everyone sells their recruits on this, therefore no one does anything and the structure eventually collapses.

In 2006, I was lured into working one of these programs, but as fast as I built it it fell apart. Some of this was also due to the fact that people questioned the effectiveness of the product, and the other part was that I was doing everyones recruiting and just couldn’t keep up. The good news is that 90% of my reps found me online so I didn’t spend too much time recruiting, the other downside was that the upline that had recruited me lost interest and has since been with no fewer than 3 additional “opportunities” proving that they lacked focus.

The bottom line is that no matter what home based business you choose, you need to chose something that you believe in to the point that you would do it even if everyone around you quit - which would leave more business for you anyhow.
