Achieving The 4 Concepts of Financial Freedom

Do you think obtaining financial freedom is difficult? Many people do, but in reality it’s not. Financial Freedom pretty much boils down to a few simple concepts:
1. Reduce spending.
2. Bringing in more money than your budget requires.
3. Reducing your tax liability.
4. Investing wisely in assets.
The good news is that there is one solution that addresses all of these factors, and that is owning a business whether it is a home based business or not. Let’s look at each of these individually.
Reducing Spending
Reducing spending is a simple one. Well, it is simple to find the problem, it may not be as simple to make the right choices, but take a look at where your finances are and where you want them to be. If you are spending more than you are making, you need to be real with yourself and start making some choices. Another great was to reduce personal spending is to convert your expenses into business expenses
Increasing Your Income
Ok, now that you have reduced your expenses, how does your personal balance sheet (your budget) look now? If you still have more expenses than income, look again to see where you can reduce spending. I am sure you can find more places if you try. If not, let’s look at bringing in more income. Here are your options:
- Get a better paying job.
- Get a Part time job (or a second PT job)
- Start a home based business. The best option, more on this later.
Reducing your tax liability
I am not an accountant, but I will tell you that in my personal experience, the three best ways to reduce tax liability are owning your home, starting a business, and being smart enough to not try and think you can be your own accountant.
It’s pretty common knowledge that a house can give you some great tax breaks, and you need a place to live anyway, so you might as well own, right? Not to mention, right now is a great time to buy given where the market is. Second to owning a home, is starting a business from home. Running your own business gives you lots of additional write-offs and can make some of your personal expenses tax deductible (by converting them to business expenses), AND you can even write off a portion of your rent if you don’t own a home. So here we have another solid vote for owning a business.
You will need to consult a qualified accountant to determine how to best reduce your tax liability and what kind of business structure to establish.
Investing Wisely in Assets
Simply put, assets are investments that produce income. So a home based business would qualify, provided you do it correctly and it produces income. Most business owner fail and the reason is because most go into business without taking time to learn what is involved and how to do it correctly. If you want to learn the A to Z’s of entrepreneurship, I would like to recommend a home study course to you. It will teach you everything you need to know from accounting basics, marketing, raising capital, and so much more. In all, there are over 30 modules jam packed with everything you need to know to get started. This isn’t about me selling you something, it’s about me helping you get to where you want to go. If you’re ready call me at 800-453-9290. If not, stay tuned.. you’ll be ready soon enough.
Until next time…

Quit Lying to Yourself and Take Action!

Have you ever met those folks who lie to themselves and talk about how much they love their jobs, love waking up at 4AM to drive for hours, to work 10+ hours a day, and do it all over again? Or how they really did want to live in the middle of nowhere and have their friends drive 2 hours each way to visit (or not visit because gas is too high)? Perhaps you are one of them?
If that’s you and you really like those long days or being secluded from friends and family, don’t let me rain on your parade. We are all different, and I never want to judge anyone. From what I have learned over my lifetime is that if given the choice, most people would live their lives very differently if the lack of money were not an issue for them.
I agree there are those who just don’t have the discipline to work for themselves, and if you are honest enough to say that, then I commend you. BUT, I still want to challenge you. What if there was a way to create passive income that would grow over time, so that you could perhaps work only 4 days per week, or take more vacations, have more money to help loved ones and friends that fall upon hard times (everyone does… trust me).
Many people don’t understand how to create passive income, and many others feel guilty about it. Some don’t feel they are allowed to have it. Other’s would do just about anything to get it.
The answer is creating assets. According to Financial Guru Robert Kiyosaki, an asset is something that produces income. Many of you are thinking “well, my house if my biggest asset.” I venture to say, if it’s not producing income, it’s not a true asset - even worse, could you cash it in? Could you get cash value out of it TODAY (or has it devalued, or has your credit taken a hit due to the economy?)
For most people, their assets are businesses or income producing real estate. I work with a phenomenal group of successful individuals, and we help people create wealth by building these assets, and reducing liabilities through education and coaching. I can’t tell you how exciting it is to see the light go on for people. When someone decides to no longer be a victim or take action to get out of the rat race and get real with themselves, amazing things can happen.
Do you want more from life? Are you tired ot the same of grind, just to barely pay the bills? Do you want more money than month? If so, take real action and call me. I could spell a bunch of stuff out on a website or blog and most would read it, some wouldn’t believe it worked, and most would still not take any action. If you want to have what you’ve never had out of life, you have got ot be willing to do what you’ve never done before. If you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you’ll keep getting what you’ve been getting.
Are you ready to take action? If so, call me TODAY at 800-453-9290. I want to chat with you about your options. I also want to give you some options. Will I try to sell you something just to sell you something? Not at all. But if you are like the others that I have spoken with, you will drive (or fly) to my house and thank me - of at least buy me dinner. The number I gave you is my 24-hour voice mail, and I will be notified of your call as soon as you leave it. I will call you back at my earliest convenience.
I wish you all the success you deserve!

Why Customers Object

Customers object for many reasons, and sadly many unskilled sales people just can’t get past this. There is one thing to keep in mind. If you build value in your product or service and instill trust in your prospect, you will close exponentially more sales.
Bottom line - Spend time with your customers, ask question to find out about them and what they need, and provide all of the information about how your product or service will help them solve their problem.
Finding Money to Build Your Business

Often times, people use not having money as an excuse to not start or grow their business. While it is true that a lack of funding is one cause for failure, it doesn’t have to be. After seeing some seemingly-shady information being sold in the marketplace, I decided to put together a guide to share with you some ways to fund your business. In my working with clients, I find that often times the answer is right in front of them, but they fail to see it.
My Business Finance “guide” is broken down into 3 sections:
Section 1 - Finding Money. Where I will expose 5 different avenues that you may not have considered to fund or grow your business.
Section 2 - Borrowing Money. Here you will learn the secrets (8 avenues) to borrowing start up money regardless of your credit, and how to get Angel Investors and Venture Capitalists to say YES!
Section 3 - Creating Money. This is my favorite part because the best money to use to fund your business is YOURS. This is where you learn how to create it and it’s a lot simpler than you would think. Also, if you create it, you don;t have to pay it back which makes your business that much more profitable. Learn 8 strategies that can help you create income to fuel your business.
“Finding Start Up Money for Your Business” is a 7 page guide (8 if you include my bio) - ALL MEAT, NO FLUFF! While I would like to be able to give it away, people often disregard information that they get for free as less than valuable. This guide was written based on over two decades of business experience. I have started, built, and sold countless companies in my lifetime. Not all were the successes that I though they would be, but I learned from every one of them.
The cost is $7 and if you learn to fund your business by reading it, that $7 could turn into MILLIONS! Get it while it lasts! If you don’t have $7, borrow it and pay it back when you implement one of the strategies inside. I welcome your feedback, and I will also offer you a full money back guarantee, if you can honestly say you don’t think it was worth $7 or you didn’t learn a thing from it. Or instead of returning it, I will answer your most pressing business question. This gives you a consulting session valued at $500 for just $7. Click here to buy the guide.
Wishing you more success than you can imagine.

If you have never heard personal development trainer and motivational speaker Jeff Combs (and you live in the Phoenix area), I strongly recommend checking him out. Jeff and his wife Erica and two of the most successful trainers in the business, and a local sales organization is having Jeff come and speak this Thursday.
A coaching session with Jeff is worth $500 and I have 3 (invitation only) tickets for anyone who is interested in hearing him speak. There will also be a business presentation following Jeff for one of the strongest business opportunities available. Jeff is speaking from 5-6PM and the business presentation following is from 7-9PM. You won’t want to miss it. The tickets I have are complementary, and they are first come. You must be available to attend both presentations to receive the free tickets. If you are wondering, the business presentation is not for an MLM company, but for an independent sales organization - one of the best in the country.
One of the Worst MLM Recruiting Tactics EVER

Are you making this mistake?
I got a call yesterday from someone who said he had a question about my online business. It piqued my curiosity as I figured he was either a prospect or recruiting for his MLM. As it turns out, it was the latter.
He gave me the standard “if I could show you how to make $10,000 in the next “x” days, would it be worth your time?” As an aside, if I had $100 for every time I heard that one I would have an extra $10,000 minimum. My answer was a resouding “no thanks.” Why? It’s simple; I am committed to the company that I am building, but more than that I am committed to my team and I have spent years developing online reasources that few can offer. I shared that with him and he politely ended the call.
Now can you see why this is a horrible recruiting tactic? Let’s say, I wanted to jump to the company of the week and said “sure, I’d love to hear more”. He would then have recruited a “rep” that was not one who would likely commit for the long haul. He said he found me on one of my websites which promotes network marketing. I know why people think that is a good idea, and I used to do the same thing. But the bottom line is that those people are only good until the next “too good to be true” call comes in. Then you will lose them.
I am building for the long haul, and here is a novel idea - we actually recruit people that want to sell because that is what network marketing is. Second to that, our focus is building customers, not reps - that’s where the money is. A customer who is sold on your product will be a customer for life, but a disgruntled, flighty, or “company of the week” rep is a short term revenue stream - and in some companies it’s actually a liability because some companies that pay up front, charge back their reps when people cancel.
I hate to sound arrogant, but this is worth gold. If you are using tactics like that, you are beating your head against the wall. If you are doing that and it is sincerely working, I’d love to hear from you.

I have seen this a few times and I really enjoy it every time I read it. It makes you think, and hopefully will motivate you to take control of your destiny.
What is better - Work or Prison?

In prison, you spend most of your time in an 8″ X 10″

In prison, your family and friends can visit you.
At work, you can’t even call your family and friends!

How to Not Get Ripped Off by a Home Based Business Scam
Posted on May 30, 2008
Filed Under fraud, home based business, scams, work at home | Leave a Comment
If you are looking for a great way to make money from home, there are sadly many people out there that will sell you a song, take you money, and you will never hear from them again - nor will you make any money. If I had all of the free time in the world, I would devote myself to stopping fraud, but for now I will do my part.
Two friends recently shared a new “business opportunity” with me. I am rarely in the market to hear about something new, especially if is new and “hot” and “people are making lots of money in a short time”. To me those are sure signs to get my fraud alert on high, or pretty close.
I decided to check out Liberty League after being approached by the first person, and lets just say I found them to be less than reputable. And so on one accused me of slander, libel, or defamation of character, I will leave you with the lawsuit from the Attorney General of the State of Arizona (who sued them and won) and the unsatisfactory listing from the Better Business Bureau. You can be the judge, but as I told my one friend “if people are doing their homework, that is hard to sell against”.
So how is one to make sure that he or she doesn’t get scammed? Here are my suggestions:
1. Do a Google Search on the company. You may be surprised what turns up. so many people just don’t bother to check, but rather take the advice of whoever is sharing the opportunity with them. Usually these people mean well and are just trying to run an honest business, but haven’t done their homework.
2. Check the Better Business Bureau. Again, you would be amazed at what you will find if you look. I learned this lesson a while back with a real estate company that I did work for. In the end, I had to threaten them to get paid (and I did get paid), but had I done a BBB search, I would have NEVER done business with them.
3. Go With Your Gut. Do you ever get that feeling that something just isn’t right? Well, that is your God given “compass” to lead you in the right direction - listed to it.

The Myth of Forced Matrix MLM’s
Posted on May 27, 2008
Filed Under MLM, home based business, network marketing | Leave a Comment
I have built network marketing businesses on more that one occasion that used a forced growth matrix as their business structure. The lure is that it will grow for you without you having to do anything but the problem is that everyone sells their recruits on this, therefore no one does anything and the structure eventually collapses.
In 2006, I was lured into working one of these programs, but as fast as I built it it fell apart. Some of this was also due to the fact that people questioned the effectiveness of the product, and the other part was that I was doing everyones recruiting and just couldn’t keep up. The good news is that 90% of my reps found me online so I didn’t spend too much time recruiting, the other downside was that the upline that had recruited me lost interest and has since been with no fewer than 3 additional “opportunities” proving that they lacked focus.
The bottom line is that no matter what home based business you choose, you need to chose something that you believe in to the point that you would do it even if everyone around you quit - which would leave more business for you anyhow.

Business Opportunity Review - Ameriplan

Over the past 19 years, I have studied the network marketing industry and have worked with a variety of companies in different capacities. It has been a great experience for the most part and to this day, I have many friends that I met through the industry. I have also seen it all when it comes to “the latest and greatest” of network marketing companies. I have found flaws with most companies, and have nearly given up on network marketing a few times in the past. I eventually came around and saw it for what it was - a gold mine! The challenge is finding the right company and the right team. Let me tell you a bit about one company that is changing lives and is one of the business opportunities I recommend.
Ameriplan offers access to discounted medical and dental networks. This represents a huge opportunity because we have over 40 million uninsured or underinsured Americans who need this service!
Here are a few highlights about Ameriplan:
- Company has a solid 12+ year history
- Low Cost of Entry ($99)
- Low Monthly Cost ($50 - includes marketing and product websites, and a dental, prescription and vision plan for your whole household)
- No licensing required
- No Territory Restrictions
- No products to buy, ship, store, or return
- Earn a monthly RESIDUAL income. As you add customers, you are paid an up front commission and it helps to build your residual monthly income.
- Customers stay on board (you don’t have to encourage them to buy “pills, potions, powders, and lotions” every month.
- You don’t have any liability by having your customer put things in their body (i.e. supplements)
- A benefits package for all reps.
For our team (anyone signing up using the link in this post):
- Additional benefits we have negotiated (including a weekend getaway for two)
- Internet Leads. We are looking for 5 committed reps to work with, that want to handle these leads as we continue to develop them.
Here is a website that shares more about the business opportunity with Ameriplan: http://www.iboplus.com/TeamTLF
Here is a website that share more about AmeriPlan’s dental and medical networks: http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/medrelief
Let me know if you have any questions. It would be our pleasure to work with you and help you build an income from home.
